Eligibility:
Graduates in any of the following Branches of Engineering from any recognized Institution / University with a minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters for General / OBC candidates and a minimum of 50% Marks in the aggregate of all semesters for SC / ST candidates corresponding CGPA Ratings / Gradations are only eligible to apply.
Or
First class (60% Marks) Degree in Engineering as awarded by the university / Institute in respect of General / OBC candidates (Second Class (50% Marks) in respect of SC/STs) are eligible
Candidates who have passed Degree in Engg in the Branches specified below and obtained the prescribed percentage of marks as on the last date prescribed for filling up of applications online (25th December 2008) need only apply. Candidates who have appeared in their final year or whose results are awaited need not apply.

Applications for Asst. Engineers should be submitted strictly “ON-LINE” by logging on to HAL Web site www.hal-india.com. Careers . Applications will not be accepted by any other mode. The web site will be kept open from 04/12/2008 to 25/12/2008 till 2400 hrs which will be the last date for applying on line. Candidates are allowed to apply only once and application once submitted cannot be altered under any circumstances. Candidates are required to possess a valid E-mail ID, which is to be entered in the application form, so that intimation regarding downloading of call letters for written test / interview can be sent. HAL will not be responsible for bouncing of any E-MAIL sent to the candidates. However, from time to time necessary information will be hosted on HAL Web site. Internal Candidates and Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from Application fee, all other candidates have to furnish the details of Demand Draft in order to register their application on-line. Candidates may download the Computer generated reference Number and send a hard copy thereof along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 200/- (non-refundable) drawn in favour Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, payable at State Bank of India, Ojhar Township (SBI Branch Code : 1196) to The Advertiser, Post Box No.-9248, Krishna Nagar Head Post Office, New Delhi-110051.
